Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Imaging: Perform high-quality imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and other radiographic techniques.
- Patient Care: Ensure patients are comfortable and informed throughout the imaging process, addressing any concerns they may have.
- Image Interpretation: Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate imaging reports and diagnoses.
- Equipment Management: Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is clean, functional, and ready for use.
- Record Keeping: Accurately document procedures and maintain detailed patient records.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- HCPC Registered Radiographer: Must hold a valid radiography qualification and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience in Radiography: Proven experience in a radiographer role within a clinical setting is essential.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in operating imaging equipment and conducting various types of scans.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
