We are actively seeking skilled Health Visitors to join our team and provide essential health support to families and children in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Health Care: Provide essential health services and support to families with young children, focusing on prevention, health promotion, and early intervention.
- Child Development Assessments: Conduct assessments of child development, monitor progress, and offer guidance on parenting and health issues.
- Health Education: Educate families on topics such as immunizations, nutrition, and infant care to promote healthy lifestyles.
- Home Visits: Conduct home visits to assess living conditions, provide support, and identify any potential health or safety risks.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with GPs, midwives, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- NMC Registered Nurse (Health Visitor): Must hold a valid nursing qualification with a Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN) registration and be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in the UK.
- Experience in Health Visiting: Previous experience as a Health Visitor or in community health nursing is essential.
- Compassionate Care: Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to working with families and young children.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact with families, children, and the healthcare team.
