Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive care to patients in general medical and surgical units, ensuring the highest standards of treatment and support.
- Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, specialists, and other nurses, to provide coordinated and effective patient care.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accessible for ongoing care.
- Patient Support: Offer compassionate care and support to patients and their families, helping them navigate their healthcare journey.
- Surgical Assistance: Assist in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- NMC Registered Nurse: Must hold a valid nursing qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in the UK.
- Experience in Medical and Surgical Nursing: Previous experience in general medical and surgical units is essential.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
