Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver High-Quality Urgent Care: Provide expert nursing care in the Accident & Emergency departments across Kent, ensuring timely and effective treatment for all patients.
- Emergency Response Expertise: Act swiftly and efficiently in response to medical emergencies, prioritizing patient safety and well-being in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Accurate Patient Record Management: Ensure all patient records are meticulously maintained, accurate, and up-to-date to support ongoing medical treatment.
- Compassionate Family Support: Offer guidance and support to patients and their families during critical and often stressful situations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- NMC Registered Nurse: Must hold a valid nursing qualification and be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in the UK.
- Experience in A&E: Previous experience working in an A&E or similar high-pressure environment is essential.
- Critical Decision-Making Skills: Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities, particularly in urgent care situations, are required.
- Effective Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team.
