Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to identify physical, emotional, or mental challenges affecting daily living and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Implement a range of occupational therapy techniques to help patients regain independence in daily activities.
- Rehabilitation Planning: Design and monitor rehabilitation programs tailored to the needs of patients recovering from surgery, injury, or illness.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about coping strategies, adaptive equipment, and home modifications.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly review and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist: Must hold a valid qualification and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience in Occupational Therapy: Proven experience in an occupational therapy role within a clinical setting is essential.
