Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Conduct detailed assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and swallowing difficulties.
- Patient Education: Provide education and support to patients and their families, helping them understand and manage communication challenges.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly review patient progress and adapt treatment plans to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- HCPC Registered Speech and Language Therapist: Must hold a valid qualification and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience in Speech and Language Therapy: Proven experience in a speech and language therapy role within a clinical setting is essential.
- Therapeutic Skills: Expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
