Key Responsibilities:
- Nephrology Care: Provide specialized nursing care to patients with chronic kidney disease, including dialysis and transplant care.
- Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients undergoing dialysis, assess their condition, and adjust care plans as needed.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about kidney disease management, dialysis procedures, and lifestyle adjustments.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with nephrologists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including dialysis logs and treatment plans.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- NMC Registered Nurse: Must hold a valid nursing qualification and be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in the UK.
- Experience in Renal Nursing: Previous experience in renal or nephrology nursing is essential.
- Technical Proficiency: Competence in using dialysis machines and related equipment.
