We are actively seeking skilled Endoscopy Nurses to join our team and contribute to the care of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Endoscopy Care: Provide specialized nursing care during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and well-being.
- Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, including administering medications and explaining the process.
- Procedure Assistance: Assist the endoscopist during procedures by handling instruments, monitoring patient vital signs, and providing immediate care.
- Post-Procedure Care: Monitor patients’ recovery post-procedure, providing necessary care and instructions for follow-up.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, patient care, and any post-procedure complications.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- NMC Registered Nurse: Must hold a valid nursing qualification and be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in the UK.
- Experience in Endoscopy: Previous experience in endoscopy nursing is essential.
- Technical Proficiency: Competence in using endoscopic equipment and handling instruments during procedures.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to interact with patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.
