Key Responsibilities:
- Critical Care Nursing: Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Therapy Unit, ensuring their safety, comfort, and recovery.
- Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients’ vital signs, administer critical medications, and operate advanced medical equipment.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records to support ongoing treatment and care planning.
- Family Support: Offer compassionate support to patients’ families, keeping them informed and involved in care decisions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- NMC Registered Nurse: Must hold a valid nursing qualification and be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in the UK.
- Experience in ITU/Critical Care: Previous experience in Intensive Care/ITU nursing is essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using advanced medical equipment and technology in a critical care setting.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
