Are you a dedicated Pharmacy Technician seeking a fulfilling role in North West England? London Healthcare Locums is looking for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to join our team and deliver exceptional support across North West England, including Manchester, Liverpool, and Preston.
Key Responsibilities:
- Medication Dispensing: Assist in the accurate dispensing of prescriptions, ensuring all medications are correctly labeled and supplied to patients.
- Inventory Management: Maintain and manage pharmacy stock levels, ensuring that medications are stored correctly and re-ordered as necessary.
- Patient Support: Provide advice and guidance to patients on the proper use of their medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Prescription Review: Assist pharmacists in reviewing prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- GPhC Registered Pharmacy Technician: Must hold a valid qualification and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Experience in Pharmacy: Proven experience in a pharmacy technician role within a clinical or community setting is essential.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing and inventory management.
